From The South End of Bay City to Hamtramck. Frankenmuth to Owosso. Posen to Kinde. The U.P. to Kalamazoo--The Polka is still a mainstay in Michigan. While you can hear basically three different styles around the state, Steve Drzewicki has toured since 1969 around the U.S., bringing the Polish tradition to Festivals and Concerts alike. Steve tackles the hot beds, the Polish, the Bavarian German, and the Czech style and why now is the time to keep tradition. Drzewicki, band leader and drummer for the Steve Drzewicki Band is still writing, recording, and putting tradition out to dance floors across the U.S.
